Backpacking in Arenal Area

Backpacking can be a fun and inexpensive option. This does not mean you need to backpack from Los Angeles to the Arenal area, and live off the land.

You can still stay in a comfortable hotel, and then should yo decide to go for an extended half day or all day hike you can carry all the provisions. So, if you are asking yourself, is backpacking for me. Well, if you are physically fit, and/or your spouse is, as you can have them lug the backpack for a few kilometers, you might want to consider backpacking across the many trails found in the Arenal National Park area.
